Treatment for Musicians

An accomplished pianist himself, Mr Miller has a particular interest in treating musicians and performers.   He has provided specialist hand surgery expertise for the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) Manchester clinic and regularly lectures on this subject. Mr Miller is on the BAPAM directory of Performing Arts Medicine health practitioners and specialists. Patients can  be seen privately or via NHS Choose & Book at his regular clinic at Claremont Private Hospital.

Mr Miller can advise on hand and upper limb problems in musicians including;

•    Playing-Related Pain
•    Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI)
•    Tendonitis
•    Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and other nerve entrapments
•    Tennis Elbow
•    Hypermobility and Musculoskeletal problems caused by faulty technique or posture


Mr Miller can also advise on coincidental medical conditions such as arthritis, Dupuytren's disease and trauma affecting the musician's hand.
